• During washing and drying, our fleece products can unintentionally shed microplastic particles that can enter the environment via wastewater. While we are currently learning more about the exact impact and how we can reduce the loss of microfibres, we recommend using the GUPPYFRIEND wash bag. It already reduces fibre release during washing and reliably filters out microplastic fibres before they enter the wastewater. We also recommend washing only when absolutely necessary and making sure that the washing machine is fully loaded. Do not tumble dry. Equip your washing machine with a microplastic filter.
